New love for HR's unloved siblings

HR has to get payroll right and during the challenging times of the global COVID-19 pandemic it did. Fosway's 2021 HR Realities research shows payroll performed well during the crisis, ranking third for C-Suite Satisfaction and second for Worker Experience, versus all functions within HR. Managing pay, financial wellbeing, attendance and absence, contact tracing, shift flexibility and service delivery have rise to the top of the list of HR priorities. As a result, vendors have scrambled to innovate their offerings. This renewed focus on payroll goes beyond a few innovative features and functions as more and more organisations realise that they need to deliver payroll transnationally in order to optimise work and the workforce globally.
